I am now trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Which is a psychotherapy approach designed to alleviate distress associated with traumatic memories. It involves the patient recalling distressing experiences, without reliving them, while simultaneously undergoing bilateral sensory input, such as side-to-side eye movements, which helps the brain reprocess the memories and reduce their emotional impact. EMDR is commonly used to treat PTSD and other trauma-related conditions.
